A Visit from the Minister
If you, or a member of your family would like to have your minister visit you, whether at home or while you are in the hosipital, please call St. Paul's United Church office at 709-635-2932
Pull Tabs for Wheelchairs
Instead of throwing drink tabs in the recycling bag, collect them and bring them along to St. Paul’s United Church. The tabs will be sent off to a metal recycler who gives the church cold hard cash which is in turn sent to the a ”Robert Hampson Foundation” who provide wheel chairs for children in need. Any Questions call 709-635-2932.

Updated April 4, 2018: Western Health Visitor Restrictions at Corner Brook Long Term Care: Please be advised that visitor restrictions are in place at Corner Brook Long Term Care, 4 South (Partridge Berry Place). The visitor restrictions are put in place due to the number of residents with influenza like illness. To prevent the spread of infection we ask the public to wash/sanitize your hands when you enter or leave any of Western Health's facilities. As well, Western Health would like to ask anyone with flu like illness or gastrointestinal symptoms not to visit any of their facilities. Immediate family members of residents at Partridge Berry Place should contact the unit at 637-3999 ext. 3942 for further direction about visitation. Western Health would like to thank the public for their co-operation during these temporary visitor restrictions.
April is Cancer Awareness Month: A time to take charge of your health and take care of yourselves! Call your health care provider to make an appointment and discuss when your next Pap test is due!
April Cancer Fact: Research shows that about one-third of all cancers can be prevented by eating well, being active and staying at a healthy body weight. Physical activity is one of the best ways to maintain a healthy weight. People who are overweight or obese are at greater risk for developing many types of cancer. Talk to your health care provider before starting any new physical activity.
